Joanna de Angelis Spiritist Society (JASS) is a non-profit organization that focuses on studying the Spiritist Doctrine, codified by Allan Kardec, and educating the local community on Spiritist beliefs. Since 1999, it has been an example of solidarity and brotherhood. Families and individuals who have needed help in the Bay Area, have found resources, spiritual support, and hope for a better future. Our group has been an active contributor and volunteer for other Bay Area non-profit organizations, such as the Second Harvest Food Bank, City Team in San Jose and the Family Giving Tree.

The Gospel According to Spiritism and
the Spirits’ Book
Study Group
In the book The Gospel According to Spiritism Allan Kardec combines his own knowledge and the teachings of the good spirits with parts of the New Testament. It helps participants understand the moral aspects of Jesus’ legacy.
The Spirits’ Book is part of the Spiritist Codification, and is regarded as one of the five fundamental works of Spiritism. It was the first and remains the most important spiritist book, because it addresses in first hand all questions developed subsequently by Allan Kardec.
Attendees are encouraged to join a dynamic, open conversation about topics from Allan Kardec’s books.
You will learn valuable tools on how to accelerate your inner reform and keep your transformational growth on track.
